Barberton Mum Festival 2010

I always try to head out to Barbertucky in late September to see the annual Mum Festival. I love the flowers and craft vendors, while the kids love the sand and ice sculptures, water-ski shows, and pumpkin rolls.

This is a bird bath sculpted out of sand...pretty cool! The sculptures always remind me of the ones Larry would build on the beaches in North Carolina, like the crocodile and whale.










































The woman pictured here with the kids claimed that a fan in a picture symbolizes good luck. So, hopefully Madison will have good luck and no more concussions!
